Carved heirloom bench
Back
This carved bench was custom-built for Melanie Pronschinske of Mondovi, Wis. It's made from 7/8" red oak and measures 12" wide x 60" long x 18" high. The seat is made from a single board.
The bench is finished with golden pecan stain and satin polyurethane.
Using a CarveWright CNC machine, the seat carving took a little more than an hour. The deer scene on the front rail, which measures about 16", took almost three hours to carve.
